Tiny light, keep on shining, hold back the dark. Lives in Sicily with an embarrassing number of cats. Will post occasional pictures of cats, Sicily and food. Was mostly offline, then kittens arrived.

Smol. How it started: 52g. One third of the size of the other kittens. Mum didn't lick him. I saved him and protected his feed from Minty and did 2 hourly feeds.

How it's going: 1.8kg, happy little kitten. His siblings are around 2.5kg so he is still SMOL

Thank you. He has a very high temperature so I am changing icepacks and rubbing him with wet cloth. Syringing hydracare and baby food into him. I've fought for him before and I'll do it again.

High temp, could be infection, could be he's eaten a dodgy mouse. We have a mini pharmacy of drugs, see how he goes. He's now 2.85kg, still SMOL.

Gone through all that. Have gone through EVERYTHING. The house has boggarts, I'll get back and find them on the table or similar.

Tell me not to panic please. (I will panic anyway) Smol is ill. Didn't come in for breakfast, so I went looking with a torch, he was just in usual spot. No injuries. Picked him up, purrs but clearly not happy. With any other cat I'd give it 48 hours of quiet and water... yeah I'm calling a vet.

What will you do with them? I have to wait until they are completely orange before I can handle the astringency but maybe the Sicilian varieties are different?

One of the best things about the recent house move (besides the glorious view) was facing up to the containers, matching every single one and recycling the ill-fitting remains. Plus new house has a storage cupboard just for containers. Bliss.

Not saying that the electrics here are crazy but tonight I found out that if you plug in the mysterious wire that's hanging in a corner of the bedroom it makes a huge spotlight over the gate come on. A spotlight I didn't know existed because it's covered in grape vibe.

All cats are F***head at some point in time :) One of the bigger boys was taking ages to come when called when I first moved and I typed to my friend about it so often my phone now recognises "Floofy McFuckface" as valid words.

Worf and Pie are almost identical to the extent I am just calling them both darling. I feel guilty about fat-shaming Tubby because she's now quite tiny. Jamie is a darling who talks a lot. Mr Smol wakes me every morning by head-butting my face and purring. My precious unexpected kittens.
