Have no idea how the RubberBunker blindfolds work but hey at least the original @kb3d.co.uk parts generally work like a breeze (the original lenses made the eye rings a pain but I knew what I was signing up for, hopefully they won’t be as much of a pain to take off if I decide to switch to black)

Got a nice haul from @kinkybiologist.bsky.social ( @kb3d.co.uk ) at the @manchesterrubber.bsky.social market.

Hose converters for NATO40 screws (S10/FM12 masks etc.) to push fit, and a really neat breakaway connector for a quick release (if needed). Really well thought-through designs. #MRW16

@rubberjouva.moufette.com has done a great job on this print! Looks super clean, and I'm a sucker for the black and yellow :')

Love seeing people's prints! Keep the pictures coming :D

We'll be debuting our redesigns for several products at #MRW16 on Saturday. Make sure to come and check them out in person and see the improvements for yourself.

They'll be available on our website afterwards and the STLs will eventually be uploaded to patreon.

Come find us at #MRW16 on Saturday for Breakaways for only £5!

The perfect tool for safer and more convenient breathplay. No longer worry about screwing/unscrewing components in a panic, just pull the breakaway apart! Or use it to quickly change between your attachments.

We have officially met our printing targets and we should be well stocked for #MRW16 on Saturday.

Now to figure out how to fit it all in the car...

Spaghetti for dinner, anyone?

Decided to see what timelapses had been saved on the sd card in the printer - found this beauty!

This is what happens when you don't triple check for floating geometry in your designs 🤦

Less than 200 objects left to print before #MRW16!
I think we're on track...

Enjoy a cheeky timelapse of the new S10 table design

Product Design: S10 Table

On the left is the new version, on the right is the previous version. The difference in surface quality is pretty clear to see :')

I think that's another design done? What do you all think?

Product Design: S10 Table
So I have a plan and a design for the table being printed with zero supports... but does anyone else see the similarities here, or is it just me?

Product Design: S10 Table

The problem: It requires a lot of supports on the underside giving it a really rough looking surface. Yes, we could print it "stood up" but that would compromise it's strength.

The task at hand: come up with a new design that doesn't require so many supports.

Just a satisfying timelapse of the Side Valve being printed. Enjoy x

June 3, 2025 at 4:18 PM
Product design: S10 Standard

Issue: In the new orientation supports were required for the surface that the valve presses against, making the surface rough causing leaks.
Solution: Tweaked it such that supports weren't required. Works a treat!

I think that's another design finished!

Product design: S10 Standard

Good news and bad news.
Good news: we got the individual bits to fit together
Bad news: despite working on the side valve, this same geometry is leaky in the standard.
The difference? We've had to rotate the whole thing 180degrees...
Time to troubleshoot.

Product design: The S10 Standard
Now that we have an invertible valve, can we fit it into the S10 standard to allow users can change airflow direction?

The problem: how does it fit? Ideally, we want to keep an internal NATO40 screw thread too for blockers/restrictors.

Product Design: S10 Side Valve

While we knew this would also be compatible with the FMJ08 (or S10.2 as some people market them as) and FM12, it looks like this also fits really nicely in the MF-11!

I think I've talked about this side valve enough now. Time for the next project!
