Some of us served in Vietnam, or the Gulf War, or the Global War on Terror. We’ve been through it — and we got through it together. It’s more important than ever that we stick up for ourselves, for our communities, and for what’s right.
Along with those of us civilians who worked for the military. We are rarely mentioned because we didnt sign up, but we worked alongside uniformed troops, shipping supplies, getting anti-terrorist & hazmat training. We hold the same values and also took the oath to uphold the US Constitution.
Except I know my biases and try to recover. We all have biases, the trick is to notice them and not let them influence.

We have to start accepting that our military who claim they are just following orders are as big pos as those giving them those orders. Respect is earned not given because you put on a uniform. WTF! Think already, folks.

A perfect morning in El Cerrito…
My wife organized a fun gathering at Castro Park for our school’s kindergarten kids and parents.
And on our walk home a friend saw us and invited us in to meet the four six week old kittens they’re fostering. 🐈🐈⬛😻

My dad and I were fascinated by a car next to us at the tip which had gull wing doors. We were watching as the driver opened the doors and then knocked their head on the edge, and then as it drove off it turned out to be a Tesla Model X. We are currently in hysterics
