Hi new followers! My feed is a jumble of queer / trans activism, AuDHD streams of thought, focus on my special interest in plurality/ neurodivergence/ cptsd & supporting non pathology of mental health through boosting lived experience perspectives. All sprinkled w/ a confetti of animal photos.
I find it interesting that there are theories around plurality that get bandied as facts. But research on plurality has only ever been under trauma. In fact if one doesn't have trauma, they are weeded out. So we actually don't know if tulpamancy is the ability for an adult to consciousnessly split

Staying at The Madonna Inn in a month. Last year we got an incredible room w/ a pink spiral staircase to a rainbow birdsnest. But we got a free room for a night in any room, so... This year it's lower key w/ The Golf Room. Not a golf fan, but it does have an outdoor private patio w/ a fireplace!

Oof. Just learned today about Brand Army. It's like an Only Fans. But only allows kids 13 to 17 to post. But paying members have to be over 18 to join and watch. Parents are signing their kids up and managing the accounts because.... $. It's not the stranger in the wild exploiting kids y'all.

With the clinical osdd/ DID/ Plural lived experience group for Refractory, we've made the complicated change to using a listserv format after our platform with Beam announced a shut down w/ 5 days notice. But it seems to be working better in many ways. And we continue to grow in numbers.

I find it interesting that a woman in Britain is doing the same experiment for asking for a can of baby formula from religious institutions. All the churches have said no. Every mosque has said yes. It was a mosque who offered baby formula to the American experiment and also three black churches.

I generally functioned like this while knowing it was unhealthy. I used to joke I had to be like one of those arctic sharks. Because of the dysfunction of capitalism, folks would routinely marvel at my output, while I knew it wasn't great. What I didn't count on was that I would, someday, crash.
Overfunctioning to the point of exhaustion is a very effective way to guarantee we won't be able to protect ourselves when we need to.
Trauma Brain's insistence that overfunctioning somehow keeps us "safe" is a lie. It never did keep us safe-- not really.

Ooof. I think Cheddar is allergic to the antibiotic meds. I noticed her nose and lip got puffy & was worried there's a mouth injury. But I think it was less puffy until I got her the next dose. Now it's puffy again. Apparently it's a possible reaction. Good thing the vet's open tomorrow.

I'm behind on any tiktoks on linking white supremacy and organized abuse. But the recent wealthy paying to hunt humans expose fits pretty neatly. I suspect some of the reason the Epstein files are so guarded are that they contain details of nightmares that I'm all too familiar with.

Trump and Clinton is the least surprising thing since toxic masculinity has so very often included male on male aggressive and violating sexual contact to highlight power dynamics. But so much is utilizing dissociation of, it isn't what it is

Hearing about @schumer.senate.gov crafting the deal to end the shutdown while playing, in public, like he hates the deal is unsurprising. He's the example of why folks say both parties are the same. He's gotta go. & every Dem found arranging this w/ him has to go. We can't f. around w/ this anymore

Cheddar Biscuit got some outside action, apparently, when I was gone and some neighborhood cat bit her tail. Several hundred dollars later and a shaved part of her tail, she's doing OK. But grumpy. She only looks tough.

Our calls & outrage are working! Sen Kaine, Rosen, Shaneen & Hassan said if they hear from more of their constituents, they could change their votes from a yes to a no. Rs may not be voting for this bill also, so call your R senators too. Keep the phone calls coming bc it’s working! 202-224-3121

I honestly think that social media has done more to normalize and educate around multiplicity than all the decades of clinical publications on the subject.

I sincerely hope that everyone who got SNAP benefits for November has already spent them. This is beyond ridiculous.
