A healthy Ricky Tiedemann could quicky become one of the biggest stories in #BlueJays camp.

He's wildy talented and still just 23. If the coming months are "normal" for Tiedemann, he could have long-term potential in the rotation again or immediate star potential in the bullpen.

George Springer finished 7th in AL MVP Award voting.

A remarkable season in every way. Few players in baseball exceeded expectation like Springer did and he did it at 36.

The most important player, I’d argue, on the 2025 #BlueJays

I was one of the 30 BBWAA voters for the AL MVP Award this season.

I'd expected John Schneider to win AL Manager of the Year and that would have been fully deserved.

Regardless, the #BlueJays have their franchise manager in Schneider. Young players have "jump years". Schneider, as a young manager, just had his.

John Schneider finished 2nd in AL Manager of the Year voting behind Stephen Vogt of the Guardians.

One way or the other, Bo Bichette will be the biggest story of the #BlueJays’ offseason.

Ross Atkins, when asked if Jeff Hoffman would be the #BlueJays’ closer next season:

“The great thing about Jeff is he’s not married to that … I think he would be open to anything that makes us better.”

Ross Atkins says that José Berríos “should have a completely normal offseason and be ready for Spring Training.” #BlueJays

Ross Atkins says the #BlueJays have “picked up the option” for John Schneider for 2026, which happened earlier, and are “talking about the potential of that being longer.”

Mark Shapiro keeps coming back to the “toughness and togetherness” of the #BlueJays, which they want to build on.

“… They’re not analytical. They have to do with parts of the game that are still beautiful, because they have to do with makeup, character, chemistry, culture.”
November 6, 2025 at 6:33 PM
Mark Shapiro says that his own contract was “put on hold during the postseason run” to avoid being distraction, but he adds:

“I think we’ll likely work something out soon.” #BlueJays
November 6, 2025 at 6:15 PM
Mark Shapiro opened with some poignant thoughts on the 2025 #BlueJays, what they accomplished on the field and how they “brought communities together.”

Now says he’s more motivated than ever to win:

“I hadn’t looked at the field since Saturday… I couldn’t look at the field.”
November 6, 2025 at 6:14 PM
We’ll hear from Mark Shapiro and Ross Atkins at the #BlueJays’ end-of-season media availabilities today, beginning at 1pm ET.
