I've never worked on an Atari MEGA ST2 setup before, and I hate working on CRTs. So obviously, this Saturday's noon stream will be working on @kefkafloyd.bsky.social 's SC1224 monitor which has lost its red.

I’ve got a long weekend this weekend but I should be able to be editing on Sunday.
Finished up the narration editing for the VCF video earlier today. Ready for video editing!
I assume that you saw Eye Lie Popeye too? If not I bet it'd be up your alley.

A new genre of music: Songs that sound like they could be JRPG music, but were not composed for JRPGs

This is not to be confused with music that inspired JRPG composers (though to be fair some of that music would fit in the genre)
Just finished recording the narration track for the VCF Midwest video. It's a long one. In the next couple of evenings there'll be some quality time spent in Pro Tools.

Have you ever wondered what the flight computer of the Scorpio was in #Blake7?

Professor Steve Furber lets us in on a little secret.

I'm trying to report a power outage here at home, and National Grid is returning an HTTP 500 when trying to enter my account details

Gotta love it
As far as I can tell HP made a specific recovery disc seat for EACH MODEL OF PC, meaning the ones for other 8600 series PCs won't work. I've tried a bunch in the right time frame off archive.org and have had no luck.
Throwing this out into the universe:

Do YOU know the recovery CD number for an HP Pavilion 8670C PC (1999/2000, 600MHz PIII)? They're model-specific and instead of using model numbers HP used 8-digit codes. What's worse, the 8-digit disc code doesn't match the 8-digit code on the jewel box!
When watching Spy X Family we've started calling Damian's friends "Beavis and Butt-head."
All the alternatives are worse and they know it.

I did a quick investigation (on a new account, I'm not porting over my existing one yet) and the actual software itself isn't bad compared to v2, and all the datatrack stuff can be turned off. But that's only for now. We know they'll turn the screws.
The script for the VCF video is finally done.

I won't have a chance to record it until Monday, but all 9,000 words are in the can.
