A Nothosaurus (semi-aquatic sauropterygian reptile in the Triassic period) on the beach, basking off a cloudy sunrise. In the background there is foliage. (Never mind some potentially anachronistic flora...) A group of various Nari individuals with varying colours that match the wheel of their respective hues (divided up to eight), though some of them do not necessarily match the same colour. In the centre is the text "Color Wheel Challenge: Naric Edition", with the time of the project starting on 25th February 2025 and ending on 3rd March 2025. There are two major distinct types of Nari depicted, the original "ghouls" (those without a set of underbelly scales and with ears) and the modified "draconians" (those with dragon/dinosaur-like features). A full portrait of Caphalia Solis (some character I made in May 2024 to pad out history), a were-Liopleurodon (or is it just a generic anthro Liopleurodon?) in the usual form taken for a werebeast in this "world" and her animal form behind her. She holds up a quill and holds up a encased scroll and a dagger. A slender, amphibious, biolumniscent predator that is seeking out some swimming "fish" (also biolumniscent) in shallow waters where they generally reside. It usually stays out the water for a few minutes (holding onto its gills) before it surrounds and strangles smaller prey.

A head portrait of a scaly dark purple-scaled dragon with large main horns stretched to the back of his head with three smaller horns around his “forehead” jutting to the front. The dragon has a cloak - and the background is of a dark cloudy day.

Annnnd its #portfolioday again.

I do creature designs for myself - and a whole lot of worldbuilding (currently fixed on trying to get Drachor done), though much of it is just a hobby (maybe paid soon?). Sometimes I will do paleoart or outside of the box (specevo) but mostly atm its just dragons.

An infographic or diagram of the gaukogag ("guivre" as a human exonym), a carnivorous wyvern-like false terror bird known as Pseudophurorhacidae, which they are part of it. They are the largest species of that subgroup, which are distinguished from true flying dragons/paramammals known as lungids, but are close relatives of it who have developed wings but never be able to fully take off in flight. Shown here are the range map of a specific species of it (G. gaucia), alongside both male and female individuals compared to an average nari (1.8 metres), with the female gaukogag being the tallest by 2.6 metres. An image in which a blue orb resembling a pulsar star rips through the image and segmenting it into a cross-section of four separate scenes. The scene depicts three different aliens going through the same experience - of the Founders’ remnants (an ancient race of extinct aliens older than them)

Going clockwise-
1) A six-eyed alien with an exoskeletal head and protrusions with cyan ribbons (yep I can’t describe that), a suit with their own air tank.
2) A four-eyed vaguely avian-like alien with fuzzy antennae and two pairs of graspers (arms), wearing a maroon-orange spacesuit and also carrying their own air tank.
3) A derelict planet with scraps of metal and debris of fallen spacecraft orbiting around the world. This planet is said to be inhabited by nemoforms - synthetic, mechanical lifeforms that the Progenitors have left behind.
4) A slender alien with a closed mouth that if opened, would open up like a flower (see Demogorgons from Stranger Things… again bad describer on my part) and some aesthetic eyebrow metal implants. Also wears a spacesuit - and has a watch. Two sky blue draconians (or Dracoghouls), where the right is vaguely ghoul-like though distinguished by his webbed hands and dark segmented ridges and the left is a proper dragon with goggles, looks over their larger boat with a smaller boat stand with three Naric ghouls. The middle boat ghoul looks at the two onlookers, convincing them of a sale, while the right ghoul on the boat holds a paddle and the large, left ghoul looks at the lone blue ghoul on the platform with his small pet pseudo-rodent (descended like all of them, from native Drachic wildlife). On the top right are two conversing Dracoghouls, one on the left is a light pink ghoul talking, while on the right is a “mekhira” (a half-dragon/half-ghoul Nari hybrid that is rare due to draconic assimilation but sometimes happens in their kind in contemporary times), pushing a small cart carrying frozen ice. This is set in a tropical, wetland location where travelling by river is a social custom for the Nari on this planet.

A digital manga drawing of a girl with white skin and blue hair dappled with oranges and yellows. She wears a dark blue dress highlighted with orange and red. She stands with her eyes closed and a tear of blood drips from her left eye. She stands among autumn leaves in front of a concrete wall. A digital manga drawing of a girl with silver skin and dark grey hair that flows up behind her. She is leaping up from a pool of lava with a fist full of fire and a blazing red dress. She has silver horns, fierce red eyes, and a demented smile. Lava flies behind her in a wave like it's about to attack. A digital drawing of a peaceful field of dunes at sunset. The entire painting is red, orange, and yellow with hints of dark blue near the horizon line. The sun gently sets near the center of the painting. A digital manga drawing of a girl in deep blue and purple space. She has ice blue eyes with long lashes. She has medium length black hair that glows with the blues and purples of deep space. She has puffy blue sleeves and holds a hand over her chest with globular tears. More tears drift away from her eyes, shaped into spheres by the lack of gravity. She appears peaceful, however. Spirals of light and nebulae flow behind her.

Oh yeah my last short paragraph got scrambled in my usual ramblings, so yeah I don't consider myself an adopts person nor a fan artist per se.
kefkorr.bsky.social
If there are any slots left, I would like to join?

I mainly do a bunch of personal worldbuilding projects on my own

I rarely don't do a lot of fanart so I personally fit better with doing OC art basically XD because I don't like giving them away - but I also hoard a lot of characters at once so...

I didn’t want to send too much information to send you at the time from an image dump (or a whole species sheet in question) - only that I described them as like draconic ghouls, so its cool.

Idk, don’t feel too much pressure from that. I’m a fan of headcanons & interpretations.

This one is definitely a bit of a twist in my head, probaly never would have personally thought of that in recent years.

But thanks for making a headcanon twist. They sort of remind me of a pretty old way of drawing the snout or beak in the very species of mine so its a bit of nostalgia for me lol

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

I also would want to draw more alien designs (like the first one) but I got my hands on a draconic-focused personal project at the moment. I do have too many ideas but I'm bad at handling multiple things at the time, so I just pivoted to that one at the moment.

New: The Dracoghoul Beak

Bit of a characteristic trait for the Dracoghouls specifically, given that this is the only thing (for me) that makes them different from like a myriad types of fictional ghouls I've seen.

#ghoul #dracoghouls #characterdesign #refsheet #worldbuilding #anthro #art #furryart
A huge infodump and infographic reference sheet pertaining to "beaks" ("skalki" in the Naric language used solely for communicating with other ghouls in diplomacy and formal settings) of the Dracoghoul species. Socially and culturally, the beak plays a significant role as a method of attraction and appeal to would-be mates that it is often regarded culturally as a point of being a symbol of imagery, as visualised by a visual hierarchical order that puts the beak as the "seventh" part of what makes up a ghoul's key characteristic of appearance.

Divided up are nine major types of beaks ranging from common to extremely rare occurrences:
- Flatround (rounded/smooth beak tips)
- Basal (sharp beak tips, also the most primitive form of ghoul beak)
- Traditional/Selskalk (the "typical" or human-perceived idea of a ghoul beak that is actually not so typical)
- Longjaw (long beak)
- Plump (beak with an upper beak part being larger than usual)
- Hooktip (hooked beak)
- Curved (curved/bent beak)
- Longjaw (similar to plump beaks only the lower jaw is enlarged)
- Beakless (virtually non-existent beak that may allow to be passed as a bit too human-like)
