With all the horrible, scary, depressing things going on all over, it felt so great to add 34 rainbow spinners to the yard’s Pride Display. Each one represents and honors someone I love and care about who is part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

The Chicago museums are ALL pretty amazing. The Shedd Aquarium was always my favorite, but the Field museum and the Art Institute are right up there, too!

That’s pretty standard….to not have standards.
Sounds more like they have embraced the “unschooling” model of education…..as a preschool teacher of over 30 years this hurts my heart deeply…. But it is a real thing: “unschooling” follows a child’s interests rather than any curriculum or concept-based learning
Some of us also find it terrifying
He quoted stats from Milgram’s study about not obeying orders that violate your conscience????!!!! The cognitive dissonance is unreal!
Re-reading a favorite, but this time I get to do it with my Book Club brethren. Hope they like it as much as I did!
