Civilian Casualties -- Kherson Oblast

On 2 Oct., Gov. Prokudin stated that 100 bodies had been recovered by various organizations across Kherson Oblast just in September.

This may indicate a FAR higher death toll than previously reported. As of now, RF drones killed 207 since Jan. 2024.

Behind the Barrages: 104th Artillery Brigade

104th Artillery Brigade was identified shelling Stanislav, Kherson Oblast—geolocated from a “thank-you” video compilation from fundraisers.

The unit's fire missions often support the 80th Arctic MRB -- both are subordinate to 14th AC Northern Fleet.

This particular unit was first revealed in poorly censored footage earlier this summer in late July.

Translation of abbreviation: "74th Artillery Brigade 1st Self-Propelled Howitzer Battery"

Russian forces launched 1,535 drone attacks this week — the 2nd-lowest since January. Civilian casualties drop as Ukraine’s EW & C-UAS improve.

The article also exposes how disinformation spread last week about another occupation official — Vladimir Saldo — rumored dead after strikes in Crimea on 21 Sept.

No credible outlets ever confirmed it. Yet pro-Ukrainian media pushed the demonstrably false narrative. False info weakens our cause.

Leontyev’s death marks another blow to Russia’s occupation network.

As occupation “Head” of the psuedo-Nova Kakhovka Administration, he oversaw kidnappings of the Ukrainian mayors of Tavria and Beryslav, and the kidnapping of a journalist from local Khersonian media outlet, Novyi Den.

On the 7th of January 2024, Russian troops shelled different parts of Kherson, hitting a residential building in the process. One woman lost her life in the shelling, while another one was injured. This is just one of countless atrocities committed by the Russian army in Kherson.

In the same range of dates last fall, Russian drones killed 1 civilian and wounded 33. This difference likely reflects Ukrainian civilian and military administrations in Kherson adapting to the Human Safari, increased depopulation, and the recent rotation of Russian units away from the region.

Situation Report

These airstrikes are an uncommon occurrence in the village. It has been mostly spared from the Human Safari and Russian artillery shelling. But these 3 days of airstrikes in Inhulets are responsible for over half of all casualties in the village since Jan 2024.

Situation Report

Russian forces have concentrated airstrikes on the village of Inhulets. Since 13 Sept, airstrikes have destroyed or damaged over 40 buildings and killed or wounded over a dozen civilians.

Evacuations are underway: 200 have left, including 74 children.
