I’m almost ashamed for knowing this but he used to bitch about this term one. He doesn’t like the electric catapult systems used to launch aircrafts off of carriers. He likes the old steam system, which were less efficient, not as adjustable, and needed time to refresh between launches.

The piece just touches on it, but with Keith Jarrett and Gary Peacock, DeJohnette was part of jazz’s greatest trio for about 30 years. Most of the records are live and Jarrett has said they never rehearsed between tours. They’d just show up and go.

The ballroom is Trump’s replacement for the Trump Hotel that was a block from the WH during Trump 1 and he sold when it became clear he’d likely lose. I.E. the place for those wanting to influence and curry favor to gather and drop off the bags of money.

I worked on the renovation of the 19th century California GOV mansion 8 years ago. The small speakers I spec’d in the design of a building wide music system had to be approved by a preservation panel for use. It takes a real nut sniffer to try to justify what Trump did entirely on his own.
