A few hours on my jigsaw this afternoon. It's starting to take shape but I can't say it's 'relaxing' as the board is huge and really too big for my knee. So I've been doing sections on a smaller board and then slotting them. #jigsawpuzzles #valgoldfinch #jigsaw #ChristmasJigsaw

1st December... advent calendar coloured in. 30 coloured pencils and no orange! Might need to route out some more pencils as there are going be a lot of foxes to colour. Can't have my chocolates til I've done my colouring! #adventcalendar #foxunderthemoon

Advent calendar stuffed ... two chocolates in each pocket (because one is never enough!). Six chocolates left ... dilemma, eat now or save and have one each day for the remaining days in December! Oh and there's 54 chocolates in a tub of #Celebrations as I ate non filling it up! #adventcalendar

Remind me again when I decide do a 1000 piece jigsaw that there are lots of pieces sort through to find the edges and to turn over so they are right side up! Might be Christmas 2026 when this is finished 😂😂 #jigsaw #jigsawpuzzles #valgoldfinch

Heel turned, I did mess up by not counting properly. Before I started the heel turn I thought should I put a lifeline in, but I've done several pairs of socks and not needed one, so I didn't and then went and cocked it up 🙄. Took it back a few rows, picked up the stitches and went again. #knitting

back to what I'm slighly better at than being a car mechanic! One of the pallet trees decorated. The silver didn't go to plan so added some gold and red. Had to do indoors so no spray painting 😂. Will get some baubles and lights then it will go outdoors #palletchristmastree #palletproject

Pallet trees painted... wild bluebell but I've called it ice blue as it was bloomin freezing painting them. 2 coats done but it hadn't really dried in-between but I think it's too cold as tin says 10° and it was 3°. Will see what they are like when properly dried #palletchristmastree #palletproject
