I have freed myself from the thought that I always need to catch the newest trend or compete with the output of other artists. I do my stuff. They do their stuff. I am happy to see their art and it inspires me to create. At my own pace. Maybe someone will feel the same.

I think the best we can do to support each other is to not gatekeep information and resources. What unreasonable fear is it to not share how and where things work? A community can only grow and evolve when everyone profits from it.

If you feel like you're all out of ideas for your art, try this:

1. Put on headphones and listen to instrumental music (no lyrics).
2. Go out for a 30 minute walk.
3. Let your mind wander.

By the time you get home, you'll have new ideas.
