MON 11pm 11/17/25
We're still about 10 days away from #Thanksgiving, but it looks "milder than average" (average High: 56° Low: 35°) with a few showers possible. We'll keep an eye on it and have a better idea later this week! 🦃 #tnwx #fall #Thanksgiving2025

WOW!

*MON PM 11/3/25*
Wanted to give everyone a "heads up", that this time NEXT week (MON 11/10/25 or more likely TUE 11/11/25) could bring us our first chance at a freeze across the region. Not unusual as Knoxville's average 1st freeze is NOV 2nd, but I just wanted everyone to be ready 👍🥶

November 4, 2025 at 4:11 AM
*THU PM 10/16/25*
A brief warming trend FRI/SAT (highs upper 70s-lower 80s), but a "potent" cold front blasts through SUN with some rain/gusty winds.
BEHIND that front we "could" see patchy frost for some Monday am 10/20/25.
(October 24th is AVG first frost for Knoxville).

🍁🍂FOLIAGE UPDATE🍂🍁
We will be "close" to peak >4,000ft in the #Smokies this week (and into N.C.), but NEXT week (week of OCT 20th) we will see more color in the lower elevations of the E. TN Mountains.
The "peak" in the Valley is usually close to Halloween, and things look on target for this year!

*FRI 11pm 9/26/25*
🌀#Humberto now a Cat 4 #hurricane & could strengthen into Cat 5 over the weekend. For now, it looks like it will pass between the U.S. & Bermuda.
🌀PTC 9 has been slow to organize, & until it does, the exact track remains uncertain.
We will monitor ALL weekend!
September 27, 2025 at 2:55 AM
FRI EVE 9/26/25
We are keeping a CLOSE eye on the #tropics over the weekend and trying to determine IF we will see some impacts here by TUE/WED (potential for some higher rain totals).
This time NEXT week though, we "could" see a nice "fall feel" in the area...stay tuned!

*THURSDAY PM 9/11/25*
The weather has been fantastic for outdoor plans the past several days without any rain, but looking at some mid and longer range info, it may be a while before we see some "decent chances" return.
