I sent it through CampFire, which is a way to add using names. I just added this way too. 🙂

I finally got around to putting up my @abluskittle.bsky.social art. I accidentally pealed some of the matte off of the frame, so I patched it with some leafy scrap fabric and double sided tape, and I think it looks great even better.
An art print of a cat on a tortoise on a misty woodland path. The black frame has a scrap leafy fabric covering it in the lower right above the corner, and it is the same size of the frame, so it patches in well.

I play PoGo too! I sent a friend request if you want (no pressure). My local group is very active, so I don't need any raid invites but I'm still chasing a shiny scatterbug of any region!

@jamesbbarrow.bsky.social art along from the previous week was "Expression of Hope". I tried my hand at sewing then painting another coloring page from @kbdraws92.bsky.social . Acrylics on cotton fabric and towel. #ArtSky #QuiltSky
2 pictures on yellow background with text: Sewn & painted by KeonaChick, Coloring Page by KBDraws92. The bigger picture depicts a painting of a bee on a pink rose. The painting is also sewn on a fabric of cream-colored roses. Some of the fabric has been pulled back and stitched down revealing the white towel underneath as well as the rose fabric with darker hues of beige and tan. The other picture shows the scrap hand towel. The hand towel says "trust your journey" and has a cartoon owl in a blue sweater with a string of letters that says "BE AWESOME" . The stitching from the other painting is visible and crosses over all over the towel.

Great time tonight. I smiled the whole time. Held back tears at first but definitely wept at the end. I loved seeing people dressed in Cosplay, dressed up for fanciness, and a bunch of cottagecore cozy farmers! #StardewConcert #StardewValley
An orchestra accepting a standing ovation in an auditorium. The projector behind them says "Stardew Valley" "Symphony of Seasons"

I was thinking green too! Maybe like a splash of lime, without it being neon! Thanks for the suggestion.

I LOVE prints, so I've been looking for a good pattern to showcase my favorites prints. This one was an experiment, using fabric from my guild's offer table, and I learned so many things that I'll do for the next time!

Got the quilt top done in time for guild today! Not sure what color thread for quilting. Open to suggestions and will ask my guild members tonight. #QuiltSky
Bright floral fabric squares accented by color rectangles on white background in alternating position. All sewn together.

Thanks, I can certainly see the progression of my skill over couple years!

If you see this, quote post your cat art 🐱
A picture of a ginger cat, and atop the picture is a blue pillow with a fabric representation of the ginger cat front body and face. A quilted fabric representation of a one-eyed ginger oriental shorthair cat (Auri is his name) on a pale blue background. His green eye looks right at you with an almost bemused expression. A fabric representation of a black & white nontuxedo cat with green eyes on purple background (Beezelbee's cat Ham).

Time flies! Here is what I've done after 8 days(?!). Just need to sew the blocks together! I also think I figured out which stash fabric for the binding too! #QuiltSky #PrairieGardenQuilt #kaffeFassett
20 vibrant floral fabric squares with on two adjacent sides of accent fabric with white background and smaller squares breaking up into 4s on diagonal corners. The 4 squares are 2 solid, 2 floral. Not relevant to the purpose but in the picture of this design wall: fabric letters spelling LEARN along the top, a scrappy fabric ginger cat face in the corner, a few turquoise fabric rectangles that say Hello and two sunflowers, and the earlier square of a bee on a flower.

Discworld QOTD, from Night Watch
People on the side of The People always ended up disappointed, in any case. They found that The People tended not to be grateful or appreciative or forward-thinking or obedient. The People tended to be small-minded and conservative and not very clever and were even distrustful of cleverness. And so the children of the revolution were faced with the age-old problem: it wasn’t that you had the wrong kind of government, which was obvious, but that you had the wrong kind of people.

Fabric auditions complete! I have the Kaffe Fassett print fabrics from guild, and accent fabrics from my stash. Excited to start this one as pool season ends soon. #QuiltSky #BeeSewInspired #PrairieGardenQuilt
Assortment of bright fabrics with tropical flowers (amaryllis and cactus flower)and leaves of a total color palette of greens, blues, purples, and pink. Accent fabric accompanying fabric: pink, orange, muted green, sunset purple, blended teal green, and blush coral. A quilt pattern nearby says Prairie Garden from Sew A Story.

Beautiful dog on beautiful fabric.

I did this Kelli Fannin quilt block in about 3.5 hours. Art prompt due next week, "Orange Exuberance". I chose batik-adjacent fabric to give life and texture to the "paint" or action of painting, while the equipment and background "canvas" is solid/plain. Best fabric for bristles, wow. #QuiltSky.
A photo of a sewn fabric block depicting two brushes with paint crossing paths. The green brush with yellow paint on its bristles is traveling left to right. The blue brush with red paint on its bristles is traveling top to bottom. Where the paths intersect, it is orange. The paint colors and bristles are print fabric or show texture while the beige background and brush handles are plain solid fabric.

A @jamesbbarrow.bsky.social art along 2-week prompt recently was "Crimson Solitude" I used a Kelli Fannin free block pattern to make this poppy flower. The red was remnant of a FQ, the rest were scraps. #ArtSky #QuiltSky
Two photos on a light grey background with the words "Crimson Solitude" and "KeonaChick". The first photo shows fabric squares of red, black, green, and grey- only the black is solid, while the other fabrics are patterned with dots (white on the green, darker red on the red, and lighter grey on the grey). The second picture shows the fabric pieced/sewn into the shape of a 4-petal poppy flower bloom, the center black, with smaller triangles of grey accenting. The small green fabric shapes and rounds the petals.

I'm in favor of alliteration, so the names you or Krissy suggested work. I put forward my name suggestion of "Soot".

Hehe, "hopping" into productivity. I see what you did there.

Heck yeah!!! Congrats! Savings begins now!
