Back from vacation last week and it was a busy one. So busy in fact that my holiday feels like it was 2 months ago instead of 2 weeks ago. That's partly because the SL shifted into the whole Fall/Halloween season while I was gone! And, I am here for it! I'm an avid listener of audiobooks. I have one on all day while I work and I'm currently listening to the complete Sherlock Holmes collection read, with gusto and aplomb, by the wonderful Sir Stephen Fry. I had just finished A Scandal in Bohemia when I was decorating this scene. I am seriously running out of time to show everything I want to from Velvet Bohème as not only does the event close on Sunday but I am also dashing off on holiday on Sunday too!

I can't believe there is just a few days left of Velvet Bohème. I have so much I still want to show and share and talk about. The whole dream of this event coming to fruition has blessed me in so many ways.  I've made new friends, been inspired by bloggers and artists, been humbled by designers and revelled in sounds that were new to my ears and touched my heart.

I've had a long friendship with Hunter, the founder and creator of Stealthic. We first met at an event set up in 2017 and almost our first conversation was about the pros and cons of his red pack. This was back in the day when I predominately wore ginger hair in Second Life. That conversation bloomed into a friendship which is heading towards a decade long.

Back in the day I knew someone in SL who named their avatar Poise. One day we were talking about names and I commented how the name suited her because she always seemed self-assure and carried herself well in her interactions with people. The more I thought about it the more I liked the word...Poise. It makes me think, calm, composed...graceful and having a touch of class.
