Well that's the thing.
Many companies, including one with high valuations have made a transition to different product focus. But that always involves having some sales of the new stuff while selling enough of the old to keep the company going.

The excerpt the Ontario video used is accurate and complete. People saying it's out of context just want to drown it in details from the time about Japanese trade in an attempt to make it specific. When Reagan clearly said these were universal truths about tariffs.
