Well deserved !
Best view I’ve ever head of a bonxie today at Leasowe. Loads of leach’s petrels, single stormie, grey phalarope, little gull and Brent’s.
Cheers Henry. Will keep an eye out. Fun whale in uk waters would be great.
Ace. Are you going there and back on the same trip? Currently in the Basque Country and heading back to Plymouth on Thursday. Quite quiet coming down from Plymouth. Not even a single Cuvier’s. Lots of common dolphin, a few striped also, pilot whale and blue shark. Birds very quiet.
Nice day on Anglesey today.
Gripped. No sign this evening sadly. Spot fly present.
Champions!!!!!!!!
Brilliant Chris. Still need the pelican.
Nice one Rob. Could it not have waited until I got back from holiday 😆😢
More good birds from Cyprus. Good comparison of great and common snipe.
Crake central in Cyprus today.
More Cyprus birds. Little bittern, little crake, woodchat shrike and kingfisher.
Cracking day on holiday in Cyprus. Lesser moorhen, spotted crake and great snipe first thing and little twitch to catch a white eyed gull in Paphos
I love it when the clocks change. Sunny evening in the Welsh hills after work.
Spring in the air at Llay pool, Wrexham this morning. Good to see migrants arriving
First record of great egret on local patch near Wrexham .Mad to think this was an expected patch tick. How times quickly change. Spring in the air this week.
Really pleased to find this adult Iceland gull at Gresford flash, Wrexham this morning. March is a good month to find them locally. @birdsinwales.bsky.social
Glossy ibis showing well at Rhuddlan, North Wales today
Feeders full of birds at Llyn Brenig. 2 willow tit and single brambling being the highlights.
Long tailed duck from last weekends trip to Estonia.
Hawk owl today hunting in Estonia.. Amazing to watch it hover.
Nice one. Hope it sticks as dipped it last year.
Really sad. Scare garden bird when I was a kid and now not seen a North Wales bird in over a decade.
