I'm trying so hard to be cooler about spiders in the house but it's hard when I wake up and they're sitting on top of my Build-A-Bears. I get it it is a very nice cuddly toy but please it is mine 😭

I just watched the Dan n Phil coming out round 2 video and it made me laugh so painfully to learn how similar their relationship is to mine. Like oh worm. But also & for that reason my god I cannot imagine having to hide like that for 15 years. It must be such a relief to be able to be open abt it!!

It's finished!! "My Avian Neighborhood": in total almost 100 hours of work in the span of 27 days to complete. So very proud of this one, it's going to be hanging in its first show over the next few months. Thank you to everyone who cheered me on, the species are in the alt text of the image! ✨

If this goes well (and as quickly as I feel it should considering how straightforward my application is) I should be able to apply for citizenship almost immediately after I get married in December and then NEVER have to worry about any of this again.

Put in my application for indefinite leave to remain in the UK! Hopefully the end of a long 10 year journey and I am so relieved to be able to do this before any of the major destabilizing updates from the white paper come into effect.

Adds just a liiiiiiiiiiittle runtime to this scene and lets us infer that Rumi eventually got this message between confronting Celine and showing up at the Saja Boys concert. She understands Mira and Zoey would always have come around because they love her. And she knows they're at the concert.

After a bit of a struggle between Mira/Zoey and Gwi-Ma it proceeds as in the movie, with Mira saying "I don't get to have a family" and walking off, at which point Zoey also can no longer fight Gwi-Ma's voice off and the message disconnects.

Rumi obviously does not pick up so they start to leave a voicemail (or voice memo or whatever) imploring her to help. At this point the Saja Boys midnight concert at Namsan Tower is announced, and the message starts to get disjointed as Mira and Zoey start to hear Gwi-Ma's voice in their heads.

(Mira also finds it comforting to have a second opinion on this situation that isn't her own which she knows is colored by her trauma/insecurities, but this goes completely unspoken. We love Mira.)

Mira reluctantly agrees because it's unusual for Zoey to take such a firm stance on this sort of thing (throughout the movie it's almost always Mira and Rumi having strong opinions and Zoey going along with them), and she still trusts ZOEY completely even if her trust in Rumi is damaged right now.

- fully explained by hiding the patterns (and not hiding anything else more sinister). We also have absolutely no choice but to trust Rumi right now if we want to repair the Honmoon because we cannot possibly do it without her.

While the phone is ringing Mira tries to object, but Zoey puts her foot down: we have to be able to trust Rumi. She's never given them a reason before to think she's not trustworthy, and Zoey has just gone over everything in her head (fast!) and hasn't come up with anything suspicious that isn't -

(This gives Zoey a more active role to play in a more essential part of the plot than the Doctor Han sidequest, and also lets us see whatever nickname she has Rumi saved as in her phone which is cute :3c)

Mira & Zoey outside the idol awards venue. They've never seen the Honmoon like this before. Zoey says we can't possibly fix this without Rumi, we need Rumi back. Before Mira can respond Zoey has already pulled out her cell phone to call Rumi.

I slept on this and I think they could have added virtually no runtime while still fixing this issue by tweaking Rumi's conversation with Gwi-Ma to where he offers her something she would never accept and at the same time inadvertently implies the Honmoon can be remade.

I like Kpop Demon Hunters well enough but every time I watch it or listen to the soundtrack I can't help but feel there's like a solid 10-20 mins missing between the big Rumi and Celine scene and her showing up at the Saja Boys concert afterwards.
