This is my OC Stephenie van Jaarsveld. She is a 19-year-old Afrikaner Girl from South Africa. She is Shy and Timid but a kind and gentle person. She was born and raised in Pretoria and moved to Cape Town when she was 7. She works at a Pastry shop in Cape Town where she makes and bakes Pastries.
This is my OC Stephenie van Jaarsveld. She is a 19-year-old Afrikaner girl from South Africa. She is Shy and Timid but a kind and gentle person. She was born and raised in Pretoria before moving to Cape Town when she was 7 years old. She works at a Pastry shop in Cape Town where she makes and bakes Pastries. When she was 7 years old, she met a Zulu boy at a Park in Cape Town, and his name was Thando Bikelwayo. He was Stephenie's first friend. And as she grew older, she started to develop feelings for him. Her shyness and timidity were a result of her getting bullied as a kid back in Grade R when she was 5 and 6 years old. And because of it she often gets nightmares about being back in Grade R getting bullied She had a father named Alex van Jaarsveld, who was a Pilot and engineer for the SAAF. She lost her dad when she was 5 years old. Facts About Stephenie: 1. Her favorite dessert is Melktert, which is a traditional Afrikaner dessert. 2. Stephenie has a very beautiful singing voice (in fact, her singing is so beautiful that she will melt your heart the moment you start to listen to her). 3. Stephenie has a naturally high-pitched voice, which her friends often call the cutest-sounding voice in the world. Her voice sounds similar to: Yoshino Himekawa (from Date A Live) or Mikuru Asahina (from Haruhi Suzumiya) (she has an Anime-like or Child-like voice). 4. Stephenie can speak and understand Zulu almost fluently (she is not entirely fluent in the Zulu Language) (fun fact: Her friends don't know that she can speak and understand Zulu). 5. Her first language is Afrikaans, English is her second language, and Zulu is her third language. 6. She owns a custom-made Plushie of her Childhood friend, Crush, and soon-to-be Boyfriend, Thando. She uses him as comfort for her Nightmares and Trauma. Even though she has other comfort plushies, the Thando plushie mostly works for her because Thando often makes her feel safe. 7. She stands at 5 feet 4 inches tall. Here is a colored version of her that I made back in December of 2024 (Please, ignore the purple eye on her Pajamas. This was before I excluded the smiley face from her Pajamas when I remade her Character bio back in June of 2025) (I've only posted this on Instagram though)
