Introducing Markerpad, a digital scratchpad where your ideas, unstructured notes, diagrams, and more begin.

If you are a coffee lover, you have to try JJ Bean. In my 7 years discovering coffee in Seattle, this was the best I’ve had. It’s actually from Vancouver 🤣 Learned about it from a friend. jjbeancoffee.com #coffee #vancouver #seattle

All the graphic design I’ve done for my apps were made with Affinity Designer. I’ve been a big fan of their software, having bought both v1 and v2.

Very cool to see them make a new version completely free to everyone. It’s a tool I think more people should use! www.affinity.studio

After using iOS 26 for a few weeks, I think Apple missed the mark on Liquid Glass. Some effects make UI and text unreadable. It’s particularly painful in Safari. The elements are frantically switching between light/dark as you scroll a page.

Uncharacteristically unpolished UI for Apple.

In my 10 years of building apps, one of the most important things I learned is I hate seams.

Seams are friction. Seams are papercuts. Seams are breaks in your UX. And one seam is slow app launch.

I work hard to keep my apps' launches seamless. I wish all Windows apps were seamless too.

My favourite coffee beans, JJ Bean, is now at $20 per bag. And my second favourite 49th parallel is now at $20 as well, up from $13.99 a couple weeks ago 🫣

Coffee bean prices have spiked 😭 #vancouver #coffee

I've owned 6 Surfaces in my life. I recall the fanfare for each launch. Meanwhile, the SP12" launched a few months ago with what seemed to be one of the quietest launches ever.

So how is it possible that this may be the best Surface I've owned? #microsoft

Surface Pro 12-inch Review – the best Surface yet?
It’s been 5 years since I bought a Surface Go 2 and reviewed it. It’s time I review its spiritual successor: The Surface Pro 12-inch.

It’s unfortunate that Azure Portal running on Microsoft Edge running on Windows on Surface Pro 12” has bugs like this. Meanwhile, everything runs fine on my iPhone.

Had fun making a website for Markerpad 🙂 I should probably have used some AI to make it nicer, but I think this turned out okay!

My boss, who is also using a Surface Pro 12 inch, is now using Markerpad for his meetings 😂 anytime he wants to draw something to explain a concept, he fires up Markerpad and shares his screen! Love it! ✍️

Just learned right now that the Multilingual Toolkit, a popular dev tool for localizing Windows apps, will be shut down by MS and blocked from download starting October. No official replacement. learn.microsoft.com/en-us/window...

Day by day, it's another blow for Windows app developers.

This just arrived and I think I'm in love. Not only does it have the same ergonomic shape that the classic MS Ergonomic keyboard has, it has cherry MX brown mechanical keys and it doesn't have a number pad. No need to extend my arm to use the mouse.

Highly recommend kinesis-ergo.com/shop/mwave-pc/

It has just occurred to me that in my decades playing Pokémon games, I don't recall ever experiencing a game breaking bug. But every month I release software, there's some form of crash or UX bug... How do I get on Nintendo's level???
