Some lessons to be learned by this.

1. We can't rely on governments to save our planet. It must come from us as individuals, and groups formed to do the work.

2. Being smart about spending earns long term dividends. €10K+ = roughly 10 yrs extra benefits.

Another argument against factory/industrial farming. There are so many perennial plants that were widely eaten by people in a wide range of climates, that provided better nutrition, better flavor, and required no additions from chemical companies. People need to think about growing their own food.

We live in a system that has been built to lock us in, to make us dependent on the system. It is still possible to become free from all this, but it requires massive change, and giving up things that make us comfortable. It is here we learn that comfort is not the reward we truly seek.

T is waging war against U.S. citizens, he's seemingly diverted attention away from the Epstein files, and without any media coverage I've seen, he's been selling or trading vital habitat areas to oil companies to damage and further harm planetary health. This is just the tip. We are so screwed.

Going through a website that tracks what is happening to destroy habitats, protected species, and environmental protections and I'm feeling sick at heart. I live in an area that is booming in growth and I'm watching habitats destroyed here.

I see our world becoming what Andre Norton predicted.

Looking at shelves and shelves of highly processed, and chemicalized salad dressings I went into my kitchen and made my own. Avocado oil, balsamic vinegar, spicy mustard, fresh-squeezed lemon juice, raw honey, salt and pepper. Yum!

Chemicalized. I made the word up, but I like it so I'm keeping it.

These are so accurate. We could add several more to this list. Ultimately, for us, we love our little husky girl and knowing all this about her means that we handle accordingly. She's our sweet, wonderful husky girl. If we were younger we'd have more huskies.

T has become a copy of Putin. He is following in Putin's footsteps, and we know that Putin has been manipulating and using T and his cronies for years, decades. This means that T will never obtain greatness of his own. He is merely a shadow.

And Marco Rubio. How sad to see him fall so far. 🥲

One example of how habitat loss is impacting wildlife. It impacts us, as well. Global climate change is driven not just by emissions, but by the loss of habitats that help to moderate weather, prevent drought, &c.

*We* must change and restore habitats.

In the 1930s Dr. Weston A Price connected diet to many significant health changes. Recently, articles have come out linking serial murders with lead poisoning. Other studies and reported findings link various medical maladies with malnutrition. This is happening with animals, as well.

Hmmm. 🤔

Not in Utah.
It's no longer left versus right or even Democrat versus Republican.

It’s now democracy versus oligarchy. Freedom versus dictatorship. Right versus wrong.

Millions are awakening to this new reality — and they're speaking up.

Anyone who wants to say that the U.S. was great at some past date needs to watch the beginning scenes of 'Bachelor Mother' with Ginger Rogers and David Niven. It highlights so many issues.

We enjoy watching it, and it's a funny movie, but I'm so glad I don't live back then.

We have been programmed into insatiable consumerism. We've been shaped so that we think of gaining more . . . and more . . . and more. Whether we need it, or not, whether we already have enough, or not.

The water in the Colorado river is dwindling. States are now fighting tooth and nail to gain as much water as possible for their state. Populations in the western U.S. are growing while we've existed in extreme drought for a quarter of a century.

It is possible to turn conditions around.

I find this remarkable, and commendable. Utah becoming so conservative that it has shielded factory farms, supported Trump, and so many other far-right actions, including ignoring citizens votes to end gerrymandering and create balanced maps. This state can be so confusing in the way it legislates.
Utah has repealed a law that barred public unions from negotiating on behalf of their members.

Republican Gov. Spencer Cox approved the rollback of one of the most anti-union laws in the country after thousands of union members rallied outside his office for a week.
