This is interesting, because, while I still imagine changes to my body, etc., I never once have idly thought about going back. Idly thinking about being a girl was a CONSTANT thought before.
In the closet, I convinced myself the cis idly thought about "changing" their gender as much as I did and if I transitioned, I would surely miss many things about being a man, despite being assured neither was true. I wanted PROOF. I wanted assurance. And I finally got it. (1/2)

This is the type of "balance" employed by the Brittish media to ensure that there is ALWAYS a transphobic nutjob spewing hate any time a trans person is on their shows [no, the same principle does not go the opposite direction for some reason].
It's very telling that she thinks a "balanced" segment would have 3-5 minutes of Stephen Miller spewing bile and that "no comment" somehow doesn't count

really cannot be emphasized enough that bari weiss has literally never done journalism. i don’t mean that in the pejorative sense. i mean that in the “has never performed the job she was hired to do” sense
One explanation for Bari killing the story is that she did so as a public act of fealty to the administration. But another is that, as an inexperienced journalist, she doesn’t understand that a refusal to go on the record is a kind of comment in and of itself

I was familiar with it before but actually sitting down to read Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is like discovering a new primary color. A bunch of Tom of Finland guys named, like, Grand Funk Railroad and Kiss Alive saying shit like "You actually thought decapitating me would slow me down? Foolish child."
