The President promised prices would go back down. In a healthy economy, they almost never do. The normal pattern is: prices jump, then over time your paycheck catches up. The pain comes when wages don't follow—then it's not “inflation” so much as an affordability crisis.

This is horrible! I was a CNA for a long time and resident to staff ratio is very important. You cannot provide as good of care for 12 people as you can for 8. Working conditions are bad enough in NHs. It's a high burn out job.
