Caved and played some Air Riders Road Trip mode before Saturday (I am weak willed).
It seemed a little easy and basic at first, but once you get rolling, it's really cool (especially on Super Hard, that shit does not mess around).
Hope I didn't miss anything catastrophic going on!

Pokémon Lazarus is cool. Original fan hack set in Greece.
Lots of fun Pokémon choices, the DexNav to hunt for hidden abilities, a Hard Mode with level caps, decently challenging fights, gyms that use a theme rather than a single type, and some classically long routes.
Comfy game for me atm.
