Kids today deserve better than a platform that only cares about micro-transactions and complacency.

I’ve been playing so much Toontown lately that I began learning more about it: a pioneer in the MMORPG space (even before WoW), came out 20+ years ago, and had children/family audiences in mind. I find it so fascinating and sad that Roblox, which has a similar model, forgoes the safety of children.

For years, TwitchCon has been on my bucket list of conventions to attend but with its rapidly declining reputation… I’m not mad that I’ve decidedly changed my mind on it, just disappointed.
