Ghost Vanguard demo
Roguelite beat 'em up with DMC combat sans the style meter. The music and UI leave a lot to be desire but it's early days (kickstarter is still live), and the gameplay whips. I love this thing. Constantly feels like you're finding new combo paths and it feels real good.

Blade Chimera demo
Neat Castlevania-like with a Japanese cyberpunk aesthetic. The plot didn't grab me, but frankly having aesthetic over story is part of the 'vania rulebook. Feels real great to play, and there's lots of little QoL that I appreciated. Pretty good!

This is like Silent Hill if it had small RE touches, a playable puppy, and the music was all sick SH remixes from Bandcamp. The trailer already sells this, but it's a really cozy horror game and I'm all over it.

Shape of Dreams demo
This is the best demo ever made for broke bitches. It's CHUNKY. Character designs are real nice and it's decent fun with a friend. Apparently this plays like a single player moba, and I don't know how true that is since those games aren't fun. But this is, so.

Becrowned demo
The dev(s) did a really great job of capturing the aesthetic of a Silent Hill game, but I think it needs a stronger hook than trying to capture its essence. Totally fine demo, though. Only had an issue with one section where the controls changed when the camera angle did.

Listen, personally I don't care about it any more than for a really fun launch night. But it was really strange how often I would see people sharing the narrative that this was another game with the FE brand slapped on top, despite no source to this and having FE mechanics.
