Regardless of what happens today at Canvas Stadium, you'll be able to feel optimism in Fort Collins.

The #CSURams already have their new head coach in Jim Mora and while he might not lead them all the way to the CFP, he's still the right hire.

My take ⬇️

Can Jim Mora one day lead Colorado State to College Football Playoff? | Tyler’s Take
Jim Mora probably isn’t going to lead Colorado State to the College Football Playoff, but that doesn’t mean he’s the wrong hire. As the Rams head into the new-look Pac-12, they needed a floor raiser —...

For the past 6 weeks, interim coach Tyson Summers has tried to make the best of a rough situation. As he leads the #CSURams out for the final time today against Air Force, he's proud of all of it.

“I’m very appreciative of hard times."

Whoever wins the Ram-Falcon Trophy this afternoon in Fort Collins will keep it on their campus for quite a long time.

Final: Colorado State 76, Wichita State 70

#CSURams led by as many as 21, but hang on for a key nonconference win and their second away from Fort Collins. Brandon Rechsteiner with a career-high 21 points and 7 3s.

Up next: vs. South Florida in Battle 4 Atlantis 5th-place game
November 28, 2025 at 3:30 AM
Brandon Rechsteiner drills his career-best 6th 3-pointer of the game to give the #CSURams a 73-65 lead right after Wichita State had cut the lead to 5. CSU trying to hang on here despite a cold shooting second half. Still a little under 4 minutes to play.
November 28, 2025 at 3:11 AM
Halftime wasn't enough to cool off the #CSURams as they're 5-8 on FGs out of the break, making their last 3 to take a 60-40 lead over Wichita State with 14:04 to play. Kyle Jorgensen leads the way with 14 points on a perfect 6-6 FGs. Rams still shooting 73% as a team.
November 28, 2025 at 2:40 AM
#CSURams go a perfect 13-13 on shots inside the 3-point line in the first half
November 28, 2025 at 2:21 AM
Wow, #CSURams made 15 straight shots before finally missing their last 2 heading into the locker room. Still, they lead Wichita State 47-30 at halftime. CSU shooting 19-25 (76%) from the field and 6-12 on 3s. Carey Booth (12 pts) and Kyle Jorgensen (10) leading the way.

Happy Thanksgiving, #CUBuffs fans!

Coach Prime certainly has something to be thankful for today after getting to watch Shedeur Sanders' NFL debut (and first NFL win) last weekend in Las Vegas.

Now, he's just hoping for a win of his own this Saturday. ⬇️

Deion Sanders thankful to watch son Shedeur’s first NFL start amid tough season with CU Buffs

Ali Farokhmanesh might just have his next Nique Clifford in Carey Booth. Just an unbelievable start to tonight’s game on both ends (12 pts, 5-5 FGS, 2-2 3s, 1 steal) and the #CSURams are up double digits on Wichita State in the first half.
November 28, 2025 at 2:06 AM
#CSURams (4-2) underway in their second game at the Battle 4 Atlantis. Rams up 6-4 early on Wichita State (4-2) and Carey Booth has a pair of buckets already.

Final: Colorado 79, San Francisco 69

Impressive nonconference win for the #CUBuffs (6-0) in their first game away from Boulder. Tad Boyle’s group continues to play a fun brand of basketball. Four players in double figures, led by Isaiah Johnson's 17 points.

Next up: winner of Washington and Nevada
November 27, 2025 at 9:01 PM
Second half Isaiah Johnson has shown up again. The #CUBuffs freshman has 12 of his game-high 17 points after the break and the Buffs lead San Francisco 65-61 with 7:09 left. Both teams shooting 52% from the field in the second half as these high-powered offenses have delivered.
November 27, 2025 at 8:36 PM
#CUBuffs feeding the big guys as they use an 11-8 run to take a 46-45 lead with a little over 15 minutes to go. Elijah Malone up to 13 points (6-6 FGs), while Bangot Dak also in double figures now with 11 points (and 5 assists) and he'll shoot one FT after a timeout.
November 27, 2025 at 8:15 PM
Halftime in Palm Desert: San Francisco 37, Colorado 35

#CUBuffs offense off to another good start with Bangot Dak (9 pts, 3 ast) and Barrington Hargress (8 pts, 2 ast) leading the way, but Dons are shooting 40% (6-15) on 3s Junjie Wang leads all scorers with 10.
November 27, 2025 at 8:03 PM
#CUBuffs (5-0) about to tip off for first game away from Boulder as Tad Boyle’s team is in Palm Desert, Calif. for Acrisure Classic. Buffs face Sam Francisco (5-1) at the top of the hour. CU will play either Nevada or Washington tomorrow.
November 27, 2025 at 6:45 PM
#CUBuffs RBs coach Marshall Faulk appears set to leave Boulder for his first head coaching opportunity in the SWAC.

#CSURams (4-2) lose an exciting game at the Battle 4 Atlantis as Virginia Tech holds on for 66-64 win. Fitting that Rams missed a potential game-winning 3-pointer in the final seconds. CSU a season-worst 4-19 on 3s. Big man trio of Carey Booth-Kyle Jorgensen-Rashaan Mbemba combines for 38 points.
November 27, 2025 at 12:39 AM
Josh Pascarelli drills the first 3-pointer of the second half for the #CSURams and the Virginia Tech lead is down to 60-59 with 2:38 to play. Give this group credit, they haven’t shot it well at all today but have battled against a really good Hokies team with an NBA Draft pick (Neo Avdalas).
November 27, 2025 at 12:28 AM
#CSURams have used a quick 6-0 run to get back within 1 points of Virginia Tech (49-48) with 6:40 to play. CSU's shooting woes from 3 have continued (2-14 in the game, 0-4 this half) but it hasn't matter much. Rams have doubled up the Hokies on points in the paint (36-18).
November 27, 2025 at 12:18 AM
Halftime at Battle 4 Atlantis: Virginia Tech 33, Colorado State 26

#CSURams led early, but Hokies went on a 14-2 run late to take the lead into the break. Carey Booth leads all scorers with 11 pts, but Rams just 2-10 on 3s despite entering as one of nation's top shooting teams.
November 26, 2025 at 11:34 PM
#CSURams about to play the first of 3 games this week at the Battle 4 Atlantis. Ali Farokhmanesh's squad first takes on Virginia Tech with tipoff coming up shortly on ESPNU. Good chance to boost the resume after last week's disappointing home loss to Denver.

Per Pete Thamel, #CSURams “expected” to hire UConn coach Jim
Mora. A proven winner (9 wins in each of the last two seasons) who has coached in the NFL and old Pac-12. Not the hire I expected, but could be a dang good one.
