I really like the way Goku changes his logo over time depending on who his trainer is, but I also really like that it's when he starts training himself that he's able to break the limitations imposed by old his masters by achieving Super Saiyan. It's cool visual storytelling.

The promo pictures on the Ultraman Mebius DX Cockpit toy are so adorable

Expanding the Monster Island set, cockpit pieces are coming in, it's a good day.

My favorite version of this is always the Yuki-onna legend. Some dude got lost in the mountains during a blizzard and died and his buddies went "fucking women." lmao, like, there's not always a rational logic to assigning blame when your entire philosophy is about projecting blame. It just spirals.

It's also nice they didn't need to devote an entire song to spelling out that religious zealotry is shitty, they just let it naturally happen. People are laughing at me, it's witches' fault. These girls don't wanna marry guys, clearly they married the devil already. The scapegoating just happens.

I love the stylization on the aspect ratio like it's a comic, it really lends itself to the hand drawn elements of the design. And it's not always present, so it's more apparent when they utilize it, like that sequence with her and her dad finally talking.

Wolfwalkers is a really pretty little movie about being lesbians in Puritan culture that has some really solid parallels to modern American witch hunts and I think that's pretty neat.
