That Hamilton Man (1959) was a promo-only SESAC release — chamber-cool jazz with a young Eric Dolphy weaving color into Chico Hamilton’s subtle group sound. Reissued in ’79, and still flying under the radar. 🎷🥁

Mono misprint with a cobalt cover and not a click to be heard. “It Never Entered My Mind” floats, “Four” and “Trane’s Blues” tear. This 1967 trident-label repress is pure RVG magic — Miles and the First Great Quintet, sharp and swinging.
