fun tech tidbit. someone managed to install Microsoft Powertoys on a university computer. That somehow, had disabled the e & x keys from working. Both from the external and on-screen keyboards. How? Fuck if I know.
But it's now up there with the most cursed bug I've ever experienced.

It is wild to me that the largest company on the stock market, one with such incredible prestige and a huge PR team got dog-walked here. Why would you EVER give this ANY oxygen? Now everybody is asking whether NVIDIA is like Enron! This didn't help at all!

I feel like it should be a condemnation of UE5 and Epic & the industry at large that at the cost of slightly more accurate lighting we sacrifice all clarity and basically cut performance into nothing, all while absolutely nothing can solve traversal stutter of UE, even Epic themselves.
ARC Raiders reviewed on PC - excellent performance from UE5 by omitting the use of Lumen, Nanite and virtual shadow maps. What are the pros and cons of this approach? @Dachsjaeger takes a look: youtu.be/jCWtIIlFXHA
