I was so honored to be asked to speak to the students at the MN Urban Debate League City Championship tournament yesterday. Debate creates lifelong friendships and develops powerful advocacy and critical thinking skills. Congratulations to all of the debaters!

Mark your calendar for the caucuses on February 3, 2026! This is the night people across Minnesota meet with their neighbors to start our election process and discuss issues. The House District 39A DFL caucuses are all held at Fridley HS starting at 7 PM, but show up a few minutes early.

Electricity prices are a key affordability issue. One cost driver we need to address is demand from proposed data centers. MN is making some progress, but we have work to do to ensure mega-sized data centers don't socialize the costs of their power while privatizing the profit.

I've dedicated my career to connecting people to their government & bringing people to the Capitol to advocate for their community. Metro State U's Model Legislature is a great example of helping people see themselves as change agents, instead of passive recipients of lawmaking.

MN has world-class health care, but only if you can access it & afford it. Our district is on the front lines of health care closures & it's only going to get worse if we don't take action. Health care is deeply personal for me, I'll never forget its importance for our community.
