@samknight.bsky.social's #writingtips for new authors: If you wait until page 3 to reveal a character's pronouns, it is guaranteed your reader will only wait until page 2 to find those things out. Even if a character is gender neutral or ambiguous, the reader needs to know.

@samknight.bsky.social's #writingtips for new authors: Always run spellcheck 3 or 4 times. Reset Proofing with Recheck Document. Check Custom Dictionaries to make sure you're using the right one. Check again. Spellcheck misses things, especially in large documents.
