Being born day after Mothers' Day, I'd always joke I was the ultimate present. This is the first one without her. She took me to my first concert, albeit in utero. Gordon Lightfoot, 03/16/1974 concert in Daytona Beach, FL. So listening to this today for her.

My mom died 2 weeks ago yesterday, and I'm still rapidly vacillating between the first four stages of grief. Listening to some of the music my mom loved and which she shared with me. These were my lullabies. This is what I grew up on. I want my mom back.

So Florida Republicans want to have a pissing contest with each other. Meanwhile the new immigration bill proposed by the Legislature would put immigration enforcement under the. . .Agriculture Department. Immigrants are no more than fodder to them. How nice(!) Feckin' eejits. 🙄

I'd sign WTF but my fingers aren't working at the moment. (PsA makes me sign with an "accent". Hard to form the words anymore, especially on cold days). Anyway ASL is not PSE. PSE is not ASL. CC is automated, especially in live situations, and a crap shoot to begin with because of it.

Got this couple days ago. Was able to find a decent priced copy on discogs and I don't care if there're a couple of scratches, it plays, and to me that's what counts. It definitely reminds me of my college years even though I started 2 years after its release.
