Last week, some of the KWL team had the pleasure of helping out at the Toronto Humane Society!! We got a little behind the scenes look at the amazing work the team does, helped fill some dog food bags for the community, and got to hang out with some adorable dogs, cats, bunnies, and rats 🥰

2. Sweat the details (Ambiance really matters in dark academia)
3. Lean hard on emotions (from dread to delight)

Writing a book summary? It’s more important than you think!

A great summary in 2–3 paragraphs should:

✨ Hook readers’ interest
✨ Name your main character(s)
✨ Make the setting clear
✨ Introduce the main conflict
✨ Convey the story’s tone
