The proof has arrived!

Overall it looks pretty good! The colors, however, need some adjusting (they look much more desaturated in reality) and I would like the cover to be a bit thicker. But all in all, I’m so excited to hold this in my hands ahhh!!

Some alternative outfits for Davrin ✨

(Because I only like his canon outfit in game, the rest was…not it)
#davrin #dragonage #datv
An illustration with three alternative outfits for Davrin. the first one is a Dalish inspired outfit with a simple shirt and pants in green and brown tones. The second outfit is a classic warden inspired outfit with chain mail and armor plating. The third outfit is a formal tunic in blues and greys, with details inspired by Assan's feathers.

living through 2025 and having to wake up, go to work, handle responsibilities etc feels like this

Mus takes wing!

My half-bird sorcerer has been on a quest to learn to fly. After a nat20 death save, he was presented with a vision - and a choice. 3 birds: black, white, blue. Which do you let in? He awoke with blue spectral wings, as he leveled up and unlocked his aasimar subclass!

An illustration of my half-bird D&D character Mus. He is suspended in the air, big blue spectral wings emerging from his back. A blue, white and black feather float below. The background shows a large pink tree.

I don’t think any line from a game has hit me as hard as Taash saying “Nobody likes being a woman.” While I’m not trans like Tamryn, what he’s saying is partly based on my own experiences and I felt like he would give Taash the advice I’ve given myself over the years.
#taash #tamrynthorne #dragonage
A comic page with five panels. The first panel shows Rook in his room, reading a letter while laying upside down on his couch. Someone calls him by a nickname just out of frame. The second panel shows Taash, upside down as seen from Rook’s pov. They ask “Can I ask you something?”. The third panel shows Rook sitting upright, a curious expression on his face. He says “Yeah, of course. What’s up?”. The fourth panel shows Taash again, with their arms crossed. They look a bit hesitant as they say “I just wanted to ask more about… you. Bein’ trans.” The last panel shows a close up of Rook’s hand slapping the couch, inviting Taash to sit. A comic page with one large panel that shows Taash sitting on the couch, with their arms crossed. Rook is sitting crosslegged next to them. Taash still looks a bit awkward as they have a back and forth conversation. The dialogue on the page reads:
Taash: “How did you figure out you were not a woman?”
Rook: “I kind of always knew. As a kid, I used to tell my parents that girls were stupid, and I didn’t want to be one.”
Taash: “And they were okay with that?”
Rook: “They didn’t tell me I was wrong. They let me dress how I wanted, and helped me when I wanted to cut my hair short.”
Taash: “So it was easy for you? You just decided to be a guy instead?”
Rook: “I wouldn’t say it was easy. When I got a little older I still had plenty of doubts.”
Taash: “What kinda doubts?”
Rook: “If I was masculine enough to be a man. Maybe I was just a girl who liked being boyish. It didn’t feel the same every day.”
Taash: “Yeah…”
Rook: “But when I asked people to use he and him, tried it out, it felt… right. Like that was really me.” A comic page with four panels. The first panel shows Taash looking as if they’re processing everything Rook has just said. Rook touches them gently on the leg while saying their name. The second panel shows Rook, feet now on the ground and gesturing as he says “You know there’s no shame in trying one thing and then later learning something else fits better, right? There’s no boxes you have to cross to be considered trans or non-binary or anything else. You can just try stuff out… see what sticks.”
The third panel shows a close-up of Taash, looking excited at that prospect. They ask “I can?”. Rook replies with “Absolutely.” to which they reply “Maybe I will.” The final panel shows them both again, and Taash looks happier, saying “Thanks, Rook.” Rook is smiling at them, bumping his fist against their shoulder as they say “Anytime, Taash.”
