They are caught lying to close. But I let the reader decide if they did anything or if the one who caught them is lying, out of revenge since he had a fight earlier with Adriaan.

#plottober there was an art installation that I learned about through Twitter that inspired me to write the story of the two boys. After that I did research on them and read books about the VOC. Recently, a book I’m reading has influenced a chapter that I just wrote.

I’m Koen, my first novel is currently send to publishers. I write LTBQ stories and have one novel finished.
I’ll be plotting my second novel. A story based on a true event where two young boys in the 18th century, in service of the VOC, are sentenced to death for ‘sodomy’

If they loose a large part of the audience, it will be hard to win them back. Speaking for myself, I never imagined I ever would consider not watching. But if I skip one year, I doubt I’ll come back in the future. If they loose the Dutch audience, it is a huge number.

Or maybe they think it’ll be business as usual, but the viewing figures are terrible and the revenue from televote will be low. They finally realise that something must be done and the promise transparency, a vote on the issue, then cancel the vote and think it’ll be business as usual, ….
