While doing a Thanksgiving grocery run, all I could think about was how much more expensive things are compared to last year. Zach Nunn promised to bring down our costs in Iowa, but we’re not seeing it. We need to send someone to Congress who’s focused on making life more affordable for Iowans.

Watch what Congressman Nunn does, not what he says. If he truly cared about lower costs for Iowans, he would have voted to fully extend the ACA in January to prevent premiums from doubling. And he wouldn’t have voted to gut Medicaid and kick over 100,000 Iowans off their health insurance.

I mean, seriously? Zach Nunn was partying it up in Mar-a-Lago while the government is shut down, government workers are going without paychecks, SNAP is on hold, and tens of thousands of Iowans are facing their healthcare premiums doubling or tripling.

Iowa is at risk of a recession, and brain drain is one of the main reasons why. We need to make Iowa a welcoming place, and a place our kids want to stay. That is what I will fight for in DC.

We are now two weeks into the Government Shutdown with no end in sight, and Zach Nunn is still hiding from his constituents. Working Iowans deserve a representative who will work for them, not billionaires.
