Mom, educator, and state representative putting people over politics. Running for US Congress because #IA03 needs someone fighting for us. Flipping #IA03 = Dem House

It’s official– I’m running for US Congress in #IA-03!

This district is my home. I’m running for Congress because Iowans need a fighter for them in Washington and Zach Nunn isn’t up to the job.

While doing a Thanksgiving grocery run, all I could think about was how much more expensive things are compared to last year. Zach Nunn promised to bring down our costs in Iowa, but we’re not seeing it. We need to send someone to Congress who’s focused on making life more affordable for Iowans.

Happy birthday to my mama, Penni! Hilarious, badass, independent, honest, authentic, caring, and passionate. My mom taught me so much about who I want to be and who I want to fight for. I carry her example with me every day.

It doesn't have to be like this. We need new leadership who's willing to stand up in DC and turn the page. That's why I'm running for Congress. www.desmoinesregister.com/story/money/...

Veteran bankruptcy attorney says Iowa farmers in extreme financial distress are at a "level higher than I’ve seen in a long time."

Zach Nunn likes to talk a big game, but his votes don't back it up. If he wanted to protect the ACA, he could have voted to in January. Watch what he does, not what he says.

Watch what Congressman Nunn does, not what he says. If he truly cared about lower costs for Iowans, he would have voted to fully extend the ACA in January to prevent premiums from doubling. And he wouldn’t have voted to gut Medicaid and kick over 100,000 Iowans off their health insurance.
Zach Nunn backs 1-year ACA subsidy extension, warns against shutdowns to negotiate policy
After recognizing aviation employees' work in the government shutdown, Nunn said in an exclusive interview he backs a 1-year ACA subsidy extension.

I joined the IDP for their food drive this weekend! When politicians like Zach Nunn leave Iowans in need behind in DC, our community shows up.

Happy Veterans Day 🇺🇸 Thank you to all those who have served our country and put their lives on the line to defend our values. As the daughter of two Air Force veterans, I have learned firsthand the courage it takes to serve, and I’m so proud of their service to our country.

I mean, seriously? Zach Nunn was partying it up in Mar-a-Lago while the government is shut down, government workers are going without paychecks, SNAP is on hold, and tens of thousands of Iowans are facing their healthcare premiums doubling or tripling.
November 10, 2025 at 4:27 PM
We need more than promises— we need to protect healthcare for the 125,000+ Iowans at risk of seeing their healthcare premiums skyrocket when they’re already struggling to afford them. Iowans deserve fighters who won’t compromise on what they need. fortune.com/2025/11/09/g...

Zach Nunn made a lot of promises during his campaigns, and he hasn't delivered. Iowans deserve better than a Congressman who says one thing, and does another.

There is so much that gives me hope about this district. When our communities come together, great things can happen all over this state. Make sure to stop by Hedgie's the next time you are in Bedford!

263,000 Iowans are at risk of losing food assistance for November because of Zach Nunn’s inaction. That’s why I signed onto this letter with my colleagues urging Governor Reynolds to take immediate action to help Iowa families. It’s time to stop playing politics with people’s lives.

Happy Halloween IA-03! In the Des Moines-area tradition of telling jokes while trick-or-treating, I hope you enjoy this one about Congressman Nunn and his spooky disappearing act! Nothing scarier than a Congressman that disappears on his constituents.

I’m honored to have the endorsement and support of CWA Local 7102. Unions like CWA helped build my family’s foundation– I know they need a partner in Congress who is willing to stand up for them every day and is ready to make working people the core of their campaign.

Great to be back in Adams County yesterday for the Southwest Iowa IDP Hall of Fame and Candidate Forum! When I’m your congresswoman, you can count on me to make rural Iowa a priority.

The impacts of this shutdown are real— government employees are going without pay checks and hungry families might now going to have go without SNAP benefits. And Zach Nunn’s response is typical DC: all talk, no action.

Congratulations to Renee Hardman, Democratic nominee for Iowa Senate District 16. Renee's experience as a city councilor and community leader will serve her well, and I look forward to calling her my Senator!

Iowa is at risk of a recession, and brain drain is one of the main reasons why. We need to make Iowa a welcoming place, and a place our kids want to stay. That is what I will fight for in DC.
October 16, 2025 at 8:17 PM
We are now two weeks into the Government Shutdown with no end in sight, and Zach Nunn is still hiding from his constituents. Working Iowans deserve a representative who will work for them, not billionaires.

We also recognize the struggles that Iowa’s Indigenous communities have faced, and honor their strength and resilience.
