There's a new #CSS Working Group poll to get feedback on different names for the infamous 'Pinterest' layout.

- Since it uses many of the grid-* properties, `grid` will be in the name somewhere
- We don't use metaphors in CSS names, so `masonry` is not listed here

No one believed me when I said we were losing food stamps in November. It’s just something hard to imagine losing as an institution in the US. What are poor people supposed to do at this point, die? I don’t understand. We can’t continue to be squeezed anymore.

The numbers do not line up for me to hold on through two months. I gotta stop paying all of my bills just to keep from eviction. Like I’d love to not pay for internet or electricity or phone but then job hunting isn’t easy.

The wintertime is just so scary. I don’t think anyone is really hiring in wintertime. Jobs are posted and things are online. Unfortunately paying rent can’t wait until January. I’m really not sure how I will make it til January and even then..

Every time I talk with my friends about this stuff it just feels like the concept of transferable is not a thing. If you did not do the exact job title at another company with exactly the same tools you can’t even get to recruiter screen.

Every time I try new stuff and it results in no call backs it makes me sad. I have been trying to apply for same job title but different products/verticals and absolutely nothing. I applied at ~80 places. Gotta come up with a new experiment for today.

Finally tried one of these Alani Nu energy drinks in the elusive witches brew flavor. It’s a perfect crisp caramel apple and I have no idea why no other brand or thing has done it this well. I love the flavor of caramel apple but all of the ways to eat it are so complicated.

Thank you for venting with me. I try to only let the nihilism and bad consume me for some portion of the day but sometimes it crescendos into something overwhelming. I try not to indulge in dystopia spiraling, but.. sometimes.. shit sucks.

Cooking video? Ok, your recipe takes 25 ingredients and 5 unique single use cooking implements or appliances. Can't have a kitchen that is big enough to fit more than a microwave. One ingredient like an egg is now 16x the price.

One thing that I lost kinda early on was loving or caring about interior design / interior decoration. When people share DIYs it's like 1) you have stable housing and can decorate 2) you probably own your domicile and I can't relate. Utilitarianism and survival is the luxury.
