Dan Campbell was the ultimate course correction from the Matt Patricia era.

J.B. Bickerstaff proved to be the same kind of correction from the Monty Williams year of doom last season, and this year is only reinforcing it.

Talked with a few #Lions players about that deleted NFL Films video on Brian Branch. One line stuck with me — “It was weird energy from the league… from the same league that’s supposed to protect your players.”

Interesting move by the NFL: they sent a memo reminding teams that players should punch the ball out, not the player — but used footage of Jack Campbell instead of 49ers defender Alfred Collins from Week 5 against the Rams.
The NFL sent a warning about this Lions defender’s ‘violent’ playing style
Jack Campbell's aggressive ball-punching technique has forced two fumbles this season but now has the league office sending memos to teams.

#Lions Scottie Montgomery on Jameson Williams not getting the ball: "If he's not unselfish, he's fooling the hell out of me. This was his best, cleanest, most physical in the run game. On the sideline, every single play, he was so excited for everyone."

#Lions Dan Campbell said that ESPN's report of them reaching out to the NFL league office regarding cut blocks on Aidan Hutchinson is not true: "That's a bogus report. That's bull."

Jared Goff has only one game this season where he’s completed less than 70% of his passes, and three games where he’s completed at least 79%. Do you understand how hard that is?
