Been Watching Central Airport 1933
On TCM just now and I’m really enjoying it!
Great flying scenes and the romantic subplot is very adult & complicated.
I’ve always liked Sally Eilers and Richard Barthelmess gives a good & very sympathetic performance.
Directed by Wm. Wellman.

I’d love to have been at the meeting where the MAGAs decided to trot this old trope out of their closet of smokescreens just at this particular time in our country. “And we’ll get the TV Dr. to tell Americans they can’t stop working, they’ll buy it from him”
Dr Oz: "If we could get the average American to start working a year earlier, right out of high school, or a year later -- not retire -- or work better during their lifetime because they're healthy, it would generate about $3 trillion to the US economy. That would more than remove the debt."

A pal, my age & divorced, joined an online dating site. Today she showed me some of her responses. She thinks I should try it.
These guys were aged 65 to 80 & to a man they all hiked, rode bikes & hit the gym 3-5 days a week, desiring slim, attractive women.
O, come the fuck on! No thank you.

Infecting the evil agents with measles in order to thwart their evil agenda sounds like the plot of a B movie from Monogram Pictures.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has ceased "all movement" at a detention center for families in Texas after two measles cases were confirmed at the facility, the Department of Homeland Security said.
