I was gonna watch a movie but I stumbled across a YouTube channel that plays complete General Hospital episodes from 1979-80, the prime Luke & Laura years. Not clipped up, not a 5th generation copy, complete with the opening clapboard at the beginning of each episode.
So I’m hooked.

I never saw her onstage, but when I was a kid, I loved watching her on the afternoon talk & game shows. She was funny & smart and her hair always bounced!
The great Dorothy Loudon, Tony-winning star of Annie, was born one hundred years ago today.
It was Loudon who came up with Miss Hannigan's whistle and flask—and improvised the famous lines like "Do I hear happiness in here?" & "Why any kid would want to be an orphan, I'll never know" in rehearsal.
