i guess that’s true. im proud of who i am now. ive picked myself up from the ground and am in the process of remedying the damage ive done to myself. what i should do now is just find the time to do things that can refine and improve my skills until im satisfied with my abilities.

oh same.. my unhealthy habits got extremely worse when my jsr obsession was still fresh and it persisted even up til my brc phase. jsr in particular was something i kept using to escape reality which was really just .. not good…and yet its during these times that my art peaked. -

i do think its good that in the present im drawing for the right reasons, during the right times, but i still can’t help but feel like i “lost my spark” somehow. i can accept that though, because i’m assuming thats supposed to signify something positive.

yeah you’re right. because ive been putting more energy into erasing unhealthy habits, my hyperfixation with producing art (admittedly for attention) disappeared and that eventually lead me to not gaf abt the quality of my work.
