I've learned to become his advocate in the last 10 years but it's never easy that's for certain.

True.
My partner has moderately severe Multiple Sclerosis.
He has so many lesions on his brain and spine the doctors quit counting after 30.
It took my partner 5 years and 2 lawyers to get his disability.
We're in the US and one dose of his MS meds run $ 31 k every 6 weeks.
If he loses Medicare...
