The reviews I posted were from a series of books called The Gentlemen Bastards series all books were written by Scott Lynch he has a fourth book in the series called The Thorn of Emberlain a book that I am trying to get my hands on to complete the set
All in all the series as a whole is amazing

The Republic of Thieves 7/10
Ok so this one was still good but the immediate fix of a certain problem and then the making the big “heist” an election rigging was just not a great turn for me I still liked it as a whole but making this one somewhat about politics felt odd again I did still like it

Red Seas Under Red Skies 9/10
This one is set almost immediately after the last book it get right into the story letting you know what’s up it’s all the same elements as the first book thievery, betrayal, backstabbing, and heists except at some point the protagonist joins a pirate ship

The Lies of Locke Lamora 8/10
This book was slow at first but once I got into it the story really sucked me in, the personality of the main characters and the plot that they through are just A1, the alternating plot between young and old protagonist was great as well all and all great read.
