these dudes hang out outside the hospitality house some nights, and every time, they BLAST their music. tonight, i went out and told them everybody in the house has cancer, and the kid whose window is closest to them just had chemo, and i asked if they would care to turn it down a little. 1/2

my mother in law is my “caregiver” while i’m staying here, and last night i was curled up in a ball because my tummy and back were really hurting before bed, and she came over and rubbed my shoulder and gave me a little smooch on the head and i just-excuse me a moment while i go cry 🥹

if you know you have flights leaving at 6am, and you know that it’s only 25 degrees outside, and you know that EVERY plane will need to be de-iced, and you know the de-icing shit has to be heated to a certain temperature, WHY THE FUCK IS IT NOT READY TO GO. we’re gonna miss our connecting flight 😩

why do we continue to use “he or she,” when we have this awesome little gender all encompassing term like “they?” this is something that’s bothered me for a long time. “they” is is shorter. it’s more inclusive. yet we still use “he or she” in the year 2025?? rude
