With AI, you can code in any language without knowing its syntax. The "performance vs development speed" trade-off is fading - you can prototype in Go as fast as in Ruby. What happens to developer-friendly languages when every language becomes easy to write?

I asked Opus to write a simple MCP server that would allow to fetch RDS/OpenSearch instance info and their metrics from Cloudwatch. Then, I asked for deep analysis of my existing AWS resources using this MCP. Saved few hundred $/m due to overprovisioned instances. Exiting times!

I just published a new gem - a high-performance ClickHouse client that uses Native data format and persisted connections (should be faster than all other implementations). Not production tested yet, but if you work with ClickHouse in Ruby, give it a try
