a fully fledged, revered, clever and compassionate woman - fox of great magic and still much to learn and see of the world.

now, she guards her woods with her life and only consumes those who would bring it or her loved ones harm, or those who would willingly sacrifice themselves to the enchanting nymph witch of the forgetting garden.

years of guilt & disgust with herself, then inner reflection and forgiveness at the end resulted in an ahri stronger than ever. realizing stifling herself would only result in crumbling & hurting others, the fox accepted her nature and masterfully walks the line of human & beast.

on awakening, ahri vowed to reign in her natural instincts and to become more than the monster she'd been. .. however, some years later she would meet her true love, who would no sooner die at her clawed hands as well, ahri unable to truly dampen her nature.

the overflow of magic from the fox's sleeping form would seep into the surrounding flora, over great time creating the ' garden of forgetting, ' a vast and wild wooded garden with unique flora that thrived off of consuming memories. this would become her home, at it's center.

in her sleep, the collective memories of the village informed her psyche & moral compass and concept of human experiences, deepening her understanding of emotion and life.

stumbling into a forest cave, ahri fell into a decade long slumber as her mind & body worked to process the sheer amount of magic and memories she'd eaten.

until her beastial instincts would drive ahri to slaughter an entire village out of gluttony, pushing her into a state of delerium and severe guilt.

consuming souls allowed the fox to witness the memories and feelings of those she killed. an obsession with the euphoric wash of emotion she gained from this consumed her entirely.

for decades, ahri sowed bloodshed on the fringes of human society, reaping souls as her magic called for them & indulging in the flesh of her mortal prey.
