RIP François aka DJ Chosen Few. Another legend lost far too soon. I only recently watched this interview with him about the making of his legendary track "Name of the DJ". A tragic loss but his music will outlive all of us.

What’s the end goal here you want to use it as back up or storage? Raid1 has 1:1 redundancy doesn’t it? so if your just using as general storage that’s backed up, I take the easy option just use one drive as your drive, and the second a mirror of the first. You can do that easier with free software
