I just keep coming back to the fact that I have zero clue where this huge godfather offer that is going to materialize in the summer is going to come from. Only a few teams in the league own the majority of the picks and in the second apron world teams are holding on to their blue chip guys.
The simultaneous reports this morning coming out that the Bucks will probably drag this into the summer definitely feels intentionally leaked to get teams to up their offers.

Keeping Giannis past the deadline is a massive calculated risk. I'm skeptical the offers will get that much better after the season. I just don't know where that godfather offer they're looking for comes from. Not with only one year on his deal and his increased ability to choose a destination.

From Amick. The Bucks prioritizing "impact players" does not fill me with much confidence in their plans with or without a Giannis trade. Doesn't sound like a team committed to getting the best draft pick possible.

Tomorrow feels like a big day in the whole Giannis saga. Can't see this thing getting thrown together at the last second. If we're going to hear some movement I think it'll be soon.

I don't really understand the whole Garland for Harden thing.
The Los Angeles Clippers and 11-time All-Star James Harden are working through whether the sides can find a deal by Thursday's NBA trade deadline, sources tell ESPN. Both sides are aligned in conversations together and with interested teams.

So the next phase of this is Giannis' team putting out that he's not sitting when he comes back which could hurt the Bucks draft position and that he can control where he goes in the offseason. Not exactly a trade me now demand, but another piece of pressure.

It would be very funny if the Heat did their thing again. I can see it now, the Heat were close to a deal to acquire Giannis but just could not part with.....Pelle Larsson. Their fans would crash out and I'm here for it.

If the Bucks really have sent counter offers to interested teams then that is very notable... Suggests there are potential offers from interested teams they would take.

Ive basically given up any hope of the Bucks doing anything smart at the deadline. They're going to delay a Giannis trade until the offseason and if they do anything they'll try to buy in some misguided effort to convince him to stay. They should sell, but who is going to want anyone they have?

Doc Rivers has just completely destroyed this team. Things weren't awesome when Griffin was fired, but it's just horrific hotter bad it's gotten culminating in the franchise GOAT wanting out. I thought it was going to go bad but I don't think I thought it would ever come close to this.

Watching Doc and these guys try as hard as possible to win games in March is going to make me want to end it all.
In the same breath that he said giannis wants to stay in MKE he said they’re looking forward to having him healthy for a playoff series for the bucks.
Do not pay a single second of attention to doc rivers quotes before the game—it would be egregious if he said anything otherwise.
