I guess it's a random Bucks thought kind of night, but as far as the draft goes, I'm prioritizing someone who can put the ball in the basket that isn't a complete disaster defensively. You'll never get a pick this high for years and years. Take a shot at a guy with true 1A potential.

Another reason an in season trade might make more sense for the Bucks is that pick this year is the best asset you're ever going to have for this impending rebuild. They should be doing everything they can to maximize it and I just don't believe they would sit Giannis the rest of the year.

Giannis very well may not be traded next week, he actually most likely won't. But if he isn't it won't be because Horst only took offers to show Giannis that they can't trade him then he'll ultimately stay. I've seen that floating around the other place.

We've devolved into summary arrests of journalists with no legal justification but hey, Democrats are still going to vote to fund the government any day now. It's hard to denounce the government as increasingly authoritarian while voting to fund it at every turn.

Just looking more into this Heat stuff. It's pretty insane that Charlotte and at minimum the NBA both knew that Rozier was facing a gambling suspension and they still let that trade go through without telling Miami. Could be the difference between them not being able to trade for Giannis.

I would not advise any Americans to go to Venezuela.

Curious to know what "fully engaging" means. Motivated to get a deal so Giannis can get his money sooner? Trying to make it look to his camp like they're really trying but hold off until the offseason?
