I’m considering cutting Academy Manufactor from Rocco. The deck gets going when people use the Rocco cards. If everyone is concerned that I’ll get too much value they won’t play it and Rocco is largely a mill 1 and that’s not what I’m after.

My birthday is soon. I know people and media in general make aging a sad thing. For me aging is triumph. I lost my dad suddenly at 57. He wanted to see his boys graduate high school and he died 2-days after that. I want my grandkids to know me well so every year is a victory that I’m still here.

I’ve got 8 edh decks currently sleeved up and coming into the new year with another 1-2 I may want to throw together. I’m at the “I’ve got cards laying around, they may as well be in decks even if I don’t reach for them” stage of my number of decks cycle.

Spent the day in Orlando with my BiL and his family. Got a call from our friend who popped over to take the dogs out that Gracie isn’t doing. At the emergency vet. Things don’t look good and are quite expensive. Not the day I intended. Really hoping she pulls out of this (no idea what’s wrong)
