Any idea how to get out of the orange wheel cycle? I don't have any logs in the server about failures here. 404s in the web console though on `/api/events/subscribe` though.

Oooh, this is a good advancement since I last tried jupyter-collaboration.

Every time I see someone post about "X% of homes are owned by investors" I think about how 100% of all homes are owned by investors. Culturally American homeowners want to "just live in the house" while they gain equity or value. They don't see themselves as an investor but... they've "invested".

Nice, what should I be using?

The biggest thing I've always wanted fixed in Jupyter is the ability to close a tab and see the results after. Long running spark job, training a model, or just a dumb sleep.

More wild than that though is you can bring agents into the mix. For familiarity, let's start with introducing an AI cell. If you want, just imagine you're in a regular AI chat. Only now... you give it notebook powers.

Doing this requires moving the state of the notebook document to the server side. Once you do this though... it unlocks new ways of working.

No longer do you have to only converse with just the REPL. It's time to bring collaborators.

I have been going at it for about a month, and well, it works. I think it's about time I start showing people.

I saw this tweet about @livestore.dev and it made me realize that @schickling.dev built exactly the library I need to make realtime notebooks with modern agentic plumbing. More 📘 below ⬇️

Glad @anthropic.com's Claude + @zed.dev don't hold back from a little bit of cursing even if it had to quote my speech.

Sorry but as a Large Language Model you suck

Times like these I want to see the full @dropout.tv match up between @adamconover.net and @samreich.bsky.social over home values and who's allowed to live on Bonita.

Judging by how many people idle their vehicles in California, gas is too cheap.

Every cute little business district needs to subsidize its cute little bookstores. If rents go up and it gets priced out in favor of yet another restaurant the appeal of the whole neighborhood drops precipitously. Dinner dates need walking destinations nearby that aren't just food.

I personally love some of the garbage. I've made some of it. Sometimes insights come from making mistakes.

People love to talk about how much of human intelligence and creativity was used to train these models.

I love how much human stupidity is hiding in there too.
